QCPA MEDIA CREDENTIALS
Credentials (media and photography passes) issued by Queen City Pro-Am are required to cover all sporting events. Credentials do not imply any guarantee to access, are for the duration noted on the credential, are not transferable, and are revocable at the sole discretion of the Queen City Pro-Am. Loaning or transferring credentials may result in immediate permanent revocation of media credentials and ejection from the event of the original holder and unauthorized holder of the credentials. Credentials must be displayed at all times during the event.
All media credential applications (located below) should submitted no less than two business days before the event. Media credentials may be issued to working members of the media representing recognized media outlets in the business of news gathering/sports reporting as a primary function of their business. Eligible outlets include newspapers, web sites, magazines, wire services, television, and radio. Freelance Creators, Content Creators, and Local Photographers/Videographers are eligible to apply, but cannot be guaranteed approval. Credentials will not be issued to photographers/videographers hired by athletes unless a media credential application has been submitted. In accordance with NCAA policy, credentials will not be issued to any outlet whose primary coverage is gambling or bookmaking. Photographers are only permitted in certain areas of the court and must follow the rules outlined by the game management and sports information departments. An approved media credential application is required for court access.
All credentialed photographers/videographers must review and complete the Queen City Pro-Am's photography release form before any credentials can be issued.
