"Nobody Fights Alone"
We are using our platform to help increase awareness of these diseases. According to the World Health Organization, at least one-third of all cancer cases are preventable. We want to help encourage the community to be proactive. Knowledge and early detection save lives.
Donations toward cancer awareness will be collected during our QCPA summer basketball league. All proceeds will be donated to local organizations whose purpose is to prevent breast and prostate cancers.

The importance of education cannot be overstated. With 1 in 5 students living in poverty, school officials report that many children do not have access to school supplies necessary to support their academic achievement and success. We want to help and will collect school supplies at each QCPA game. At the end of the summer, the collected school supplies will be provided to area youth in need.
